Weekly Photo Challenge: Fleeting Moment

This is a RARE fleeting moment… when all our cars came to a halt!!!
A Python wanted to cross the road… by the time we got our camera’s out to shoot… we only got the tail!!!
Thankfully, my friend, who was driving, saw the python begin to cross… jammed breaks fast enough not to crush it!! A blessing… well he was long enough for us to get a shot of him on camera.
The Fleeting Moment… PRICELESS!!!

  1. Wow. I first thought it was a coral snake, but a PYTHON! No, I never thought that! Great going! Were you not afraid?

    • We were… which is why we only got out of the car… once Python head was out of our view!!! I guess, both the Python and we… thanked God 🙂

    • We were actually stunned… looking around for the mate!!! 1am… is a scary time to have met a python… I guess we were talking way too much about snakes that day… one finally gave us audience 😀

      • haha, the time you mentioned is indeed scary… how many snakes have you been talking about that day then? lol

      • We were visiting a village in Goa!! The homes there still have tiled roofs… Mom was telling us, how in the rainy season… snakes used to fall from the roof!! Ha ha ha… rattle snakes… we refused to believe her… then the lady of the house… confirmed it!!
        So, one after the other, we kept getting stories about snakes… and how my Great Grandmother had a funny way of shooing them away 🙂
